Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Informational Session
Description
Have you heard about the new federal FinCEN Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting requirement?
Starting January 1, 2024, most U.S. businesses will be required to report key details about individuals who own or control at least 25% of the company or who hold significant influence. If your business doesn’t comply by January 1, 2025, you could face steep penalties, including fines of up to $500 per day and possible criminal charges.
To help local businesses navigate this new requirement, the Roanoke Regional Chamber and Franklin County Economic Development are offering a free workshop to break down everything you need to know, facilitated by representatives from Brown Edwards:
Date: November 13, 2024
Time: 11:30 AM
Location: The Franklin Center, 50 Claiborne Avenue, Rocky Mount, VA
