Carter Bank & Trust hires Faye Crute as senior mortgage loan specialist

Carter Bank & Trust announced today that it has hired Faye Crute of Salem as senior mortgage loan specialist.  Crute joined the bank’s new mortgage lending division, which was launched in late August of 2017.
 
Crute is currently one of four new Carter Bank mortgage loan specialists in its two-state service regions of Virginia and North Carolina. In her new capacity, she serves Roanoke, Salem, Franklin County  and other  communities in Southwest Virginia.
 
Crute is formerly with Hometrust Bank as a senior banking mortgage loan officer and  has been in the mortgage lending industry for more than 17 years.  She has also been a real estate agent and has deep experience in the financial services industry.
 
“Faye’s experience is unique in this industry. Besides being highly skilled in loan origination and consumer lending credit analysis, Faye can help our customers navigate through the complications of real estate closing process.  She is truly a trusted advisor,” said Richard Owen, Carter Bank’s senior vice president and director of mortgage banking.
 
Crute is active within the community that she serves.   She is a volunteer with the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors and  involved with the Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia, an organization in the Roanoke Valley that educates youth to value free enterprise.
